Please don't throw chronic pain patients under the bus by this. Most of us are responsible people who just want to function in daily life. Every new burden on getting opioids badly affects our quality of life. We're already in chronic pain. Don't make our lives harder. Please.
Since 2000, nearly 10,000 people in Washington state have died of an opioid overdose. It's time to come together to beat the scourge of opioid addiction & enact solutions that are as comprehensive as this challenge.

Get Kaiser Permanente to stop over medicating ppl they did me and it took me months of throwing up to get off it thank god for cbd’s it’s help to keep me off all the pills hated it

IF it works for them. It doesn't work for everyone. There is NO medication, plant, herb, or other substance that works for everyone who tries it. That's impossible. I'm not disagreeing that cannabis is safer than opioids, and *for me* they work better. Many people aren't me.

I absolutely think cannabis should be legal under federal law, and that it IS a better alternative to opioids **for many people**. Chronic pain patients deserve the treatments that work **for them**. For many, that's cannabis. For many others, that's opioids.
