From the millions who will lose health coverage or see their premiums go up, to the middle class families who will see their tax bill increase, to the pristine region of Alaska that will open to drilling, it’s hard to overstate the cruelty of the Trump-Republican bill.

It’s hard to overstate the hypocrisy of so-called fiscal conservatives who didn’t think twice about blowing a massive hole in our deficit and endangering Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid—all so they could gift tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy and the Trump family.

While I am deeply disappointed President Trump & Republicans succeeded in jamming their destructive bill through w/o real hearings—I am so proud of the millions of people from every corner of this country who made their voices heard & did everything they could.

This fight is not over & I hope you’ll join me in continuing to hold Republicans accountable for their votes—and to work with Democrats to reverse the pieces of this legislation that so heavily tip the scales to the wealthiest.

I am ashamed that you are my senator and blinded by pure bi-partisanship. As a middle class business owner, I am grateful for what just passed and ashamed you voted “no”

Excellent. Don’t come crying to twitter in 2019 when your tax bill comes. Best of luck with that.

And after the 2018 house cleaning, we will be looking to you and the Dem Majority to lead compassionate AND responsible lawmaking to remedy this travesty. Thank you for your No vote. #2018goals

Millions will not 'lose' their health coverage! They will once again have the choice to purchase it or not. Something the tax and spend democrats don't understand.

I was advised by HR were I work that our health insurance is going up 110% next year. Insurers are blaming the repeal of the mandate. So essentially the insured folks will be paying for the uninsured folks. Back to zero. Thanks GOP.

I'd love for people to not get sick. I'd love for everyone to "pay their own way". But that's not how insurance works GOP. I know people who fought the mandate but won't think twice about hauling to the ER over something I would def 2nd guess.pic.twitter.com/tzrq24Cjxf
