.@Senate_GOP hit a roadblock last night, but they’re still rushing to pass their reckless tax plan that will leave millions of families behind. Today, I’m shining a light on exactly how their partisan bill will hurt working families & our communities in WA
Over the past few weeks, thousands of Washingtonians have reached out to share their personal stories about how the GOP tax plan will impact their lives—here are a few:

These are real stories of real Washingtonians who will suffer real consequences under the GOP tax plan—all while billions of dollars will funnel from those who need it most to those who need it least.
Again, these are just a handful of thousands of stories shared by Washingtonians—but the GOP tax plan will raise taxes for millions more & pave the way for cuts to critical programs like Social Security & Medicaid. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
We don’t have to do this. We don’t have to take money from working people & give it to the richest families & wealthiest organizations. But no matter how Republicans try to spin it, that’s what their bill does.
So as Republicans continue hurdling towards a vote on a bill that will raise taxes on working people, spike health care premiums, and rip vital investments from our communities—don’t forget who will win, and who will lose.
How about mine? I get a tax cut! I get to keep more of MY money, spend it on local business, build my local economy. This tax bill is a win!
