.Being very serious here. In order to reach a compromise with the 2nd Amendment crowd, how about a dialogue where these type of weapons are used and STORED at local gun clubs or armories making the possibility of their heinous use far less likely?

Sounds good to me. After all, there is the "well regulated militia" part of the 2nd that is clearly not happening. This might help.

I have a lot of respect for Senator Murray but I completely disagree with this. Automatic weapons are already extremely difficult to obtain. These type of bills do nothing but hurt responsible gun owners.
