Raising the minimum wage turned down town Seattle into a food desert because restaurants closed up all over the place. We don't need the policies that have destroyed Seattle going national.

How about you let each state set it's own amount for Minimum Wage, Oh wait, they do that now don't they. Why do we need a National one when the States mostly have changed it. Local issues, Local Laws, no need to Federal intervention.

Ridiculous! Every state legislature can, just like WA State, raise their minimum wage if their residents want it. Each state has different economic conditions that should dictate the minimum wage; arbitrary "federal" minimum wage increases have outlived their usefulness.
