If there’s one pattern in Scalia’s long career, it’s hostility to the workers he would be charged with protecting and the laws he would be charged with enforcing if he were confirmed. His record makes him absolutely unfit to serve as Secretary of Labor.
I hope every Republican who claims to care about working families watches this hearing closely, looks at Eugene Scalia’s record thoroughly, and thinks long and hard about whether the workers they represent really want them to support someone who will NOT fight for them.
So are you personally going to talk to your GOP friends in the Senate and get the to vote against this guy?? If not, you are just blowing a lot of hot air as usual!
Him being nominated by that orange gas bag also makes him deeply unqualified....
However, since they don't have the votes, he will be confirmed. His nomination is confirmation. Republicans love him because he is against people and for corporations. Since corps are people now, they are the only "people" Republicans care about or speak to.
