I have several ARs & high capacity magazines to go with them. They have never "cause mass shootings", they respond to my commands & are used safely...tell us @PattyMurray do you have mental health problems? I'm serious - do you see guns spontaneously shooting people in your head?
Mental health issues don't cause mass shootings, guns do. Vilifying people who have a mental illness won't help end mass shootings. The commonsense gun reform legislation that's already passed the House will. @senatemajldr, let's have a vote.

In regards to your car example isn’t that why we have laws ...... speed limit laws, seat belt laws, Dwi laws, having to get your car inspected, having to have a license and renew your license that seems like a lot of regulations we have to go through to drive a car!!

Whether it’s a gun, a knife, a bomb, or a screwdriver...if the crazies want to kill us, they‘ll find a way. Taking away my means of defense only punishes and puts my life in danger. You Dems are only pushing it because you need an unarmed populace to forcibly install socialism.

That’s funny my guns don’t get up and start shooting the neighborhood up. My guns don’t walk down the street and threaten people, but somehow I guess liberal firearms are more advanced than mine, because theirs seem to do all of the above. How do I buy self aware firearms?

Your statement says normal healthy minded people commit mass shootings. I have not seen that to be the case. I've also never seen a gun shoot someone all by itself. So, you are completely wrong in both cases.
