Last week, I spoke with young people in my home state of WA who recently came to our country via the southern border. The experiences they shared—being denied showers for days, fed “terrible” food, and treated like animals—were more than any person should have to endure.
While my colleagues & I fight to end President Trump's cruel family separation policy, we also won't stop pressing to ensure this administration is doing everything in its power to provide the proper resources, support and care to the children in our custody.
