  If I can, I will write my medical crises story. Short version, husband with ALS, and simultaneously adult son needing an endoscopic third ventriculostomy to relieve decompensating hydrocephalus. What if no access to affordable healthcare? Unfathomable.

  Preventive care is something you can’t ever underestimate the savings of human suffering, taxes $$ paid in, saved medical costs. My guy was paying his child support instead of his health insurance. He had a stroke. Now he gets SSDI and hates it. Tax payers support him. He’s alive

  Back in the late 90’s we were paying $789 a month for my husbands health care through his work. I was without coverage. couldn’t have justified anything but free well check appointment. since my husbands pre existing condition. Took all our health $$
