Medicare is one of the largest purchasers of prescription drugs in the country. Letting it use its sway to negotiate lower prices is an important step we can take to bring down high prescription drug costs. If Republicans are serious about tackling this issue, they'll join us.
You know @SenSchumer @JudiciaryDems, that Repubs are far more serious about showing Inherent Contempt for @SenateDems & @HouseDemocrats. They know voters like toughness, so they're playing tough. It'll backfire on healthcare but not on some other issues.
I am on Medicare and it only takes 23 weeks for a doctor's appointment. I pay 5k to 8k a year for my free Medical. Being 100% Service connected disabled I was told my country would look out for me. Stuck on Medicare. Even hospital's refused to take it for a CT scan. SMH
