My grandfather Richard Mecklenburg died from cancers sustained in his duties w US army at Hanford. Rubidium dust was released to test its effects on soldiers, w/o consent. WA and USA fought all lawsuits, and never paid compensation for taking his amazing life from us.
Our government has a moral and legal obligation to clean up Hanford, and that means making sure every worker is treated with respect and compensated fairly.
