When we workers get injured on the job, it takes up to 2 years to get approved for disability pay. What do we do until then? Applied for state aid for a year & turned down so many times I finally had to report to DoJ. What have y’all done to our safety net? Why do we pay taxes?

Went through great expense going to appts for help. A 4-hour psych test for food stamps. 2 hour interrogation in my home 4 chore service I’m told I “clearly need” but “don’t qualify for”. My income is $0 a day. That’s below global poverty! WAian since ‘94, now left 2 die by WA.
