#CruellaDeVos how can she be so hardened against the thriving of children and young adults? Trump's cabinet picks have been the equivalent of the fox watching the henhouse, but DeVos as Sec. Of Education seems particularly cruel.
We must make it easier to report campus sexual assault or harassment—not harder. @BetsyDeVosED's #TitleIX rule would only require schools to respond to sexual assault reports that were made specifically to a small group of campus officials. It’s a serious complaint for both accuser/accused,should only be handled by a trained professional. If an investigation is opened, all reports are now considered evidence. In no way does this lessen reporting. In contrast, accusers can be assured correct procedures are followed

Why is it wrong? Having a select few who are well-trained to handle such reports is better. The claimant can then be confident that her claim will be handled carefully and responsibly, and the complainant can get help more quickly.
