Well, I suppose that we could then register them for the draft, make them legally responsible for their actions, allow them to sign contracts, get married, avoid juvy and go to big boy prison, etc....

I don’t know if the comment about 16 yr olds is true but let’s not sell them short. They drive, they’ve fought in most of our wars, & probably know more about Civics than many voters.
