Actually yes it is because then colleges would no longer be able to count on the stream of endless money pouring into them. Making students into debt slaves isn't working out well.

Just like with all aids from government when you give money for free who receives the money ie school or rent those institutions will raise the price more because they know the government will pay for it. Which hurts people who dont use those programs

No, but it’s a more effective way to restrict access to higher ed and good jobs than paying bribes. It keeps their corruption legal and out of view. The laws that keep us down keep them up.

Let’s weed out the cheaters and those using higher ed as a pit stop. There are too many taking up space in the Ivory Towers.
