You don't have a right to serve in the military, and people are excluded for a wide variety of reasons, this being one of them. No one is saying they're less of a person, or citizen. I don't want the military to become a social experiment, anymore that it already has.
Banning individuals from our military just because they're transgender couldn't be more wrong. COMBAT READINESS! We can’t have personnel reliant on hormone therapy while in combat situations. A major challenge is logistics. What happens when hormones can’t make it to the field? It’s a distraction. Minimize distraction, increase effectiveness. Simple.

Really. If they want to be a male or female just dress like that gender when their off duty. Not banning the emotion.

They don’t “want to be a male or female” as some sort of fun side activity when they’re not working. Transgender people go through things we can’t even imagine to become the person they know they are inside. Nobody has to hide who they are because it makes you uncomfortable.
