Charter schools are a mess of church and state. They use taxpayer $ and don’t have to meet the same public school standards. Creationism is taught in science. I proudly support public ed, but my children attend #IndependentSchools- Not a dime of state or federal funds!

@PattyMurray, why do I always hear you spewing the Teachers Union lines. If we had good public schools then there would not be an objection to them. Teachers should be able to be fired if they don’t meet standards, everyone else does. That’s why public schools are such a mess.
