Her quote is miles apart from saying "If you drink, your asking to be raped" Patty, and the fact you can't discern the difference worries me. It sounded like good advice to me, and not at all placing blame on the survivor. Still approve of killing babies after birth, or no?

Staying sober does go a long way in stopping rape. In other words, a woman should not place herself in a potential troublesome situation. That does not mean rape will not happen. I wonder what things Patty wrote yrs ago...what would it tell us about her lack of ability to serve?

You know what? Perpetrators and victims would suffer less if both remained sober. Alcohol is a leading contributing factor in sexual assault. Recommend you use your influence to change college campus and community culture to deglamorize alcohol use. Rao’s advoce is healthy.
