My mom was the ONLY income for us with 38 years working for DOE. We went through government shutdowns. The dinner table conversations were about responsibility rather than being a victim. They get their backpay, and most of them did not have to go to work.
From working two jobs to refilling prescriptions to curbing everyday costs, workers all over country shouldn't have to prepare for another government shutdown this week. What the shut down should have shown people is not to trust there government because they do not have you best interest in mind. Government need to get out of medical and insurance companies. You have made it worse not better.
