What if the employee just began work? Let’s say 2 months in... then falls ill? Requires surgery? Or is this another 1 year on F/T Work status? This should be addressed as well.

provide at least 12 weeks of #PaidLeave
protect workers who are taking leave
cover all working people and reflect a modern definition of family

Anyone who is eligible for SSDI is eligible for the FAMILY Act - so if you have been working for longer but just started a new job, you're covered! Part-time workers are covered as well
