Today my colleagues and I officially requested—again—that the Trump administration explain to Congress and the American people why thousands of US troops are being deployed to the US-Mexico border for eight more months. This deployment is unprecedented and unexplained.

Why is trump still in office he’s a danger to our national security and the American people

Looks like a human wall is needed because a secure barrier has not been completed. With thousands of people in caravans on the way to the border it makes sense that we would stop illegal entry using troops we are already paying who would otherwise be "training" on their bases.
-
Hmm...yeah because those last caravans were so ferocious, lopping off people's heads and stuff, eating teargas like it was chocolate, toddlers screaming and throwing bombs. But, to be really safe, we should send them to surround the White House where the real danger lies.

It's intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that the latest 15k-20k migrant caravan approaching our Southern border intends to breach it at the non-fenced/weak points… The military's show of force intends to dissuade/disrupt that plan & minimize harm.

Nonsense. The number one priority of the military and the president is the physical security of our nation, including our southern border.
