Today starts an 8-month extension of the active duty deployment to the U.S.-Mexico border. President Trump is using troops as a political prop. This is wrong and cannot go unanswered.

Responsible

actually I would have no problem with Ntl Guard Troops being used in respective border states, but the Active duty, no, this is not their job.

Senator Murray, this deployment is wrong on so many levels. I have a close friend deployed in Afghanistan; his retirement date has been changed 5 times (he was supposed to come home in April '18) because the Army can't be sure what the dotard will do/say next. Chaos.
