I don’t get how a person can work 39 years and have a financial crisis after a month without pay. Americans need to spend far less and save far more.

It is very expensive to live in Washington State. Walk a mile in someone’s shoes before being judgy.

So, then I presume you will be voting for the bill to reopen the government in exchange for DACA extension when it comes up in the Senate today?
-
I doubt she will do anything like that as she is just following the AOC/Schumer/Pelosi group blindly.

Once again, Patty, show us how it is done! Take one for the team! Show us how a "mom in Tennis shoes", Rules. You get paid this week! Give him your check! Show us the way! You lead by example, give them your paycheck this week!

This breaks my heart. My father was an FAA employee for 29 years and died 6 months before retirement. He was a PASS member and a Vietnam Vet. He would be appalled at what is going on. Thank you Senator for your tireless work.

these American stories are heartbreaking...and never had to happen..stop the shutdown! The human toll is incalculable!

Stop listening to her propaganda. There are so many banks in Washington that will give interest free loans to those affected by the shut down. Patty refuses to broadcast that with her following. Why? She wants people to suffer. This is not what leaders do.
