All these hurting people are because Congress has dug their heals in and not doing their jobs. Is Congress enjoying this because they hate President Trump. You waste our money on many things, it would have paid for the wall long ago. Is our safety not important at all?

With all due respect senator, it occurs to me there may be a more effective use of your time and platform. This isn’t a cute. It’s a crisis and all of us who get that understand the impact on real Americans. Those who don’t won’t be swayed by these stories.

First, thank you for having done a damn difficult job that most of us couldn't do. Second, Sen. Murray has been prevented from doing her job, in this case voting on a House-approved bill, by the man who won't let anybody vote because he's afraid of the outcome.
