This is great. It would be even better if Microsoft & other companies paid all their employees enough to afford rent, & paid their share in taxes so teachers could afford rent. Also, if we had fewer monopolies, there would be more jobs available in more affordable cities.

It’s not the money that is going to help. The greater Seattle area already spends massive amounts on this problem it’s trying to get local government to allow for more creative development. It’s a supply demand issue where supply is being artificially restricted.
