Families and communities in my home state of Washington and in every state in the country are impacted and scared by this #TrumpShutdown.
But what have Republican leaders done instead? They’ve scheduled a vote to attack women and their health care. This is truly disgusting.

'trump's wall,' - perhaps this is a metaphor for the separation of ideologies between right and left now apparent in this country: one firmly grounded in xenophobia, sexism, racism, religion & nationalism; the other in humanitarianism and science. I choose the latter.
