HUD did not renew rentals assistance contracts for hundreds of affordable senior housing communities in DECEMBER b/c of the shutdown and more to come in JAN if shutdown continues. Time to fund HUD and end the shutdown.

And in ~6 weeks, HUD runs out of reserves for to pay Housing Assistance Payments for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. So, those landlords won't be paid. This further puts a strain on affordable housing for the poor.
