Good now you have a small glimmer of what it's like to be poor in this country. Imagine dealing with this everyday. I hope you & your kids go hungry like many of us Americans do. Political Leaders should have to live like a poor person for 3 years before they can run for office.

Then cross party line and work as a team for border security/immigration reform. Wall, technology, boots on the ground, etc all need to be involved to stop ILLEGAL entry. And many americans are in this same $$ boat and where is your outcry for them?

I don’t understand why the GOP can’t separate the two things. Fund the govt and then spend time in a bipartisan atmosphere to deal with border and port security. Why are these tangled up? Oh yeah, we have a spoiled 5 year old in charge who needs a nap.
