I lived with my parents, got a job and went to community college first then did the distance degree program at WSU. My parents aren't rich. No shame in community college.

(2 of 2) We also learned there is food bank on campus that many kids are forced to use so they have something to eat. Not cooked, not necessarily healthy, it's whatever parents and other kids have donated. This is seriously broken.

There’s a food pantry at Edmonds Community College and while I’m glad students have access to food the larger implications are it’s not only too expensive to get any kind of education it’s also too expensive to live in our state.

Maybe look at the >136B being spent on illegals in the US. Could that help? Or look at why college tuition keeps going up like it is healthcare...

Many schools have opened food pantries to help students. It really is a serious issue.
