This shutdown is impacting workers and their families, so I am hoping that Republicans decide to work with us to fund our government and make sure workers across the country are paid.

Why aren't DEMOCRATS screaming from the mountain tops to the media about the fact that trump hasn't spent what he's already been given for border protection!?!! trump doesn't want to improve or protect out border- He just wants a HUGE WALL ACROSS OUR COUNTRY WITH HIS NAME on it!

The only thing Trump wants is to use the wall as campaign issue, he's not interested in building a wall. He's looking forward to 2020. Can't talk about tax cut for the rich, stock market losing(401k), trade war costing farmers etc, etc. He has nothing to run on.

Senator, it’s my belief, that senate and congress are incapable of working together, if the child like behavior continues on both sides, I fear for country, I am only 70 years old and have never seen such childish behavior , we in deep trouble if this continues
