It is way more prevalent that what the statistics show. And the reasons for the lack of resolution is in part due to retaliation from management or other employees.

But ongoing discrimination is still a major factor in this problem. Being black, being latino, being gay or trans, being disabled, hell pick a reason it still happens and it will continue until there's changes in protections to stop it and violators are held accountable.
