Right in the middle of the holidays, and looking ahead to the new year, people with pre-existing conditions are once again wondering whether the protections they rely on to afford coverage will stay in place.

We heard a lot about health care from President Trump & Republicans heading into November. We heard that they fought to keep pre-existing conditions protections—and even that every single Republican in the Senate wanted to keep them in place. I found that hard to believe.
