Our military take an oath to “..support & defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign & domestic;..I will obey the orders of the President of the United States..” Common sense wouId dictate the illegal entry prevention is vital to National Security.
Our troops have essential duties to perform that are vital to our national security. Taking advantage of their service for political gains belittles their sacrifices. Way to go conflating defending the Constitution with obeying the President, only that's not what the oath I took and all servicemen and women take says. Any unconstitutional order issued by any Commander, includung the CIC should not be followed. I hope out troops know better.
