Only sometimes! The student has to live in WA 3 years to be able to qualify. This excludes more students than you'd think. It should be changed to a year. This is coming from a teacher who helps students fill out the WASFA regularly.I have had to break lots of bad news this year.

I would love to see a day when even the
#FAFSA is no longer necessary. My kids are about to head to college, and its going to kill our finances. We make too much for aid, but not enough to pay for it ourselves. Student loans are an unfair burden. - 1 more reply
