I can't help but wonder how many Americans are turning to a variety of drugs these days to cope with the stress of how deeply divided and poisonous the current political moment is. It's very difficult to tolerate on some days. Today has been an excellent example of these times.
The SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act is a meaningful step toward addressing the heartbreak of the opioid epidemic. This crisis is far from over though. I will keep fighting for more action & greater investments so communities & families can recover from this tragedy.
