Being believed should not be the goal of any victim of rape, but instead the goal should be to bring the rapist to justice. The only way to do this is with evidence because the punishment is so severe and convicting an innocent person over false accusations is a terrible thing.

There is no evidence supporting Dr. Ford`s allegations against Mr. Kavanaugh. The whole situation is based on Dr. Ford's word alone and cannot be taken seriously unless the idea of "innocent until proven guilty" is entirely removed from our society.
