Sen Murray, it speaks to me, a 62yr old AfrAmer woman who was objectified & assaulted almost on a daily basis with no one to turn to. So today's events reopen an unheated wound & the pain is at once both paralyzing and punishing. But my pain & I will vote & work to change this.
I have heard too many people—including the President—dismiss Dr. Ford. What does it say to young girls in high school & college? What message does it say to young men? I don't want my grandchildren to hear that message. I want my country to be better than that.
