It only takes one story of a teacher accidentally firing a gun in a classroom, leaving a gun in a school bathroom, or threatening a child with a gun, to know we need fewer firearms in schools—not more.

The very idea of arms in class is disgusting. I would not want to be the first to wound or kill one of my charges. Or the last, or the others. Folks need to think of what will come.

Guns, guns and more guns only lead to one thing - more bodies. As long as we accept violence as a viable solution to conflict resolution, people will use violence to resolve their conflicts.
