I took care of a patient who came into the ICU after swallowing 500 Tylenol because she was desperately trying to abort her fetus. Her husband stated he would kill her if she became pregnant again. No access to abortion care or BC re social She killed her liver. She was 31.

As a young Navy Corpsman moonlighting in the 70's at a women's healthcare clinic in Memphis I witnessed the results of botched abortions by desperate poor people. A few came to us covered in bloody sheets close to bleeding out! Please, we can not go back there!

This goes beyond abortion. Given the language of the law, those of us that had ectopic pregnancies could be classified as abortion. A ruptured ectopic is fatal. My baby was 100% developing normally- I had to have surgery or die. This is a result of that slippery slope! You die.

We also need to remind people that abortion will not stop, especially not for wealthy women, they have always had access to safe abortions, because they had the money to pay for private Drs. Abortion will not stop, access to safe abortions will stop for poor and middle class!
