US corn exports The US has exported 16.5 million metric tons of corn so far in 2018, down 29% from 2017. The US exported the most corn so far in 2018 to Mexico followed by Japan and Colombia. US corn exports to Mexico are up 4.6% so far in 2018 and down 11.6% to Japan.

Yes I agree with you. Trade will struggle for a little bit. In the long run this will be the best move that this country has ever made. Tariffs are essential to a vital economy. Even the playing field. Other countries will adjust. Takes time.
