Thank you, Senator for leading the charge on this critical issue. With the abundance of food in this country, that so many children go hungry is criminal. I wish we had representation like you- someone who actually works to help all of the people they represent -here in Georgia.

All of the critics on this thread are bots, Russians or paid saboteurs.

Programs like this are much needed but best delivered at the community level. Sounds like just another opportunity to create bureaucratic waste and mismanagement. No thanks.

Have those "meals" delivered to you at your office, too. You need to see the lack of nutrition and abundance of chemicals the gov't provides these children. Powdered cheese and sawdust meat have been the standard in school lunches for decades.

I never forget one first day of school when one student said with sadness: "I'm glad that school is back because now I will have a hot meal." That has been the sad story for many kids in America.
