Unions helped create the 40-hour workweek, end child labor, and strengthen the middle class. When unions have the power to bargain on behalf of employees, we’re all better off. But the Supreme Court’s recent #Janus decision undermines their ability to do exactly that.
As dark money groups have spent billions on campaigns designed to chip away at workers’ rights, union membership and workers’ bargaining power have both declined. As a result, wages for working families have stagnated, while billionaires like the Koch brothers have gotten richer.
President Trump has nominated another anti-worker, anti-union nominee to the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh has a long history of ruling in the favor of corporations & big business—at the expense of workers. I’m going to keep fighting against attempts to undermine working families.
You're wrong. The employees are not "non-union" they are "non-paying". The union is still required by law to represent the best interests of the membership (salary, benefits, time off...etc). They are getting a free ride.
No it gives you an option of supporting a union you are not a part of instead of forcing you to pay for not even joining
If you’re forced to pay union dues to an organization that campaigns against everything you believe, you must fight this injustice.
Then you shouldn’t continue to reap the benefits. QUIT & allow someone else who appreciates collective bargaining for FAIR & EQUAL WAGE , WORKERS RIGHTS, JOB SECURITY & BENEFITS that would be happy to pay DUES for the SECURITY.. Theres plenty of jobs that AREN’T Union find one

Before the GOP started their attack of the Unions. Unions set the wage scale for ALL Trades.. GOP favor Corporate profits rather than fair and just wage.. You can’t raise a family on $10 per hour but that’s what the Companies who benefited from the TAXSCAM pay their employees
