The @EPA should protect our environment, not be another shill for the oil industry. So I urge President Trump to keep looking until he finds a leader who will actually protect the air we breathe and water we drink.

After so many ethical violations, it took far too long for Scott Pruitt to leave @EPA. Still, his ouster is welcome news for anyone who likes clean air, clean water & leaders more interested in public health rather than the bottom line of massive corporations & special interests.

Senator, I'm not really certain what the point of this tweet is. Acting Director Wheeler may be burdened by fewer petty scandals but, at a policy level, will be indistinguishable from Pruitt. I see no reason for optimism.

I was going to make the same comment. The rot of this administration is at the core. Any replacement might actually be worse than his or her predecessor.

Please make sure that they don’t drop the dozen-plus investigations against Pruitt, as well as the issue of his scrubbed calendar (violation of Government Sunshine laws), as the deleted meetings may reveal more criminal misconduct. He must be held accountable.
