Today’s #SCOTUS decision is a loss for working people and yet another win for corporate special interests that have spent decades funding political campaigns and lawsuits designed to chip away at workers’ rights.

Democrats will continue to stand up for workers and their right to be treated fairly on the job, and I urge all Republicans in Congress who claim to care about the economic security of the middle class to work with us to strengthen the rights of workers.

One thing they didn’t fight for was the worker’s right to free speech.

They can still join the union. They’re just not forced to join it. Unions can be great but they shouldn’t be forced on any employee.

The union (speea) did NOT help my dad in regards to "fair pay" as his coworker got $10-20k MORE per year because he went to the precious UW and my dad went to USU (even though my dad had 20yrs+ more experience in their field) ... So, shove it up your tuchus!

Unions have outlived their usefulness and now just collect cash. Kids just 17 and 18 years old must pay to work a summer job?

As a condition of employment being forced to join an organization and subsidize its political speech whether you agree with it or not is un-American, Patty. The goals American unions were formed to address are subsumed by a myriad of federal, state and local laws and regulations.

I agree!!! People who work in a union setting but don't join could see their wages become stagnate while their union member employees get better wages and benefits. Unions fought for all but Trump wants employees to work as slaves.

Employees can still choose to be in the Union. But now it is their choice. If they abolished Unions- your point might carry some weight.
