Parents need to teach their children to respect (I know that's asking a lot these days) and not play with fire arms!

I love your advocacy on this, Sen. Murray! You give me hope that as a country, we’ll someday have free gun locks as well as accountability for shootings caused by incorrectly stored weapons.

I know someone who found a gun in the attic when he was a kid. He become paralyzed from the neck down when his friend accidentally shot him with it. There definitely needs to be more awareness about the importance of safely storing guns.
