The problem is schools are soft targets. Metal detectors, single or limited and armed guards. Quit trying to make this more complicated than is needs to be.

She can't change gun law. She and you should be advocating for a school security bill for more officers in schools and metal detectors. Schools are soft targets and that needs to change. Also a little more mental health help in schools wouldn't hurt.

It’s not government’s responsibility to solve gun violence in schools. Nanny state supporters want to dictate every aspect of our lives but here’s a reality check, most happier if government would stay out of our business. School safety best determined by communities they serve.
