We cannot wait for the Republicans. PLEASE get a group of Senators together, go to the center where these children are being held and DEMAND that they change the policy of separating parents and children. Take the press and don't budge until the policy is changed.
From stripping away protections for DREAMers to the disgraceful treatment of migrant children on our soil, it is evident that our immigration system is broken. Democrats remain ready to work toward solutions, but we need action from Republican leaders to get it done.
