To KBTX, Abbott reiterated the state is taking measures like increased TABC enforcement but mentioned there are "additional announcements that may be coming later today and later tomorrow as well as during the course of the week."

And yet deaths continue the downward trend, thankfully. But hey, those stats don’t generate fear or outrage...or clicks.

We don't know that because not all hospitals report and they are categorizing some deaths without the test to deflate numbers

Patrick - case increases are expected. We need whole picture though... hospitalizations, deaths, admits vs. holdovers, folks in hospital otherwise & then test positive, folks symptomatic vs. not, mix of population/age (nursing homes)... cc:
