Part of me thought dalle2 just wasn’t good at faces even if they un-nerfed it. But this feels like another game changer in of itself. People not taking this seriously before should now. This is the birth of something that will have a massive impact on society.

I couldn't agree more, this isn't just for darth vader / homer simpson memes. This is a powerful new technology that will change image making forever, quite likely with secondary wave impacts across who knows which parts of society

Do you know if the usage of Dall.e2 is reserved to a small circle of privileged? How are they selected? The waiting list doesn't seem to help or to be taken in account. Thx!

There's no privilege at play. OpenAI are doing a grand job onboarding 1000s each week, while also striving for a diverse slate of users. I was onboarded under the artist access program which is a tiny sliver of all users, because they want to see how visual artists use the tech.
