Men can get laid but they don't want women as unattractive as they are. No sympathy. All men want a better looking woman.

2) Apart from arguing that being laughably projective, that's not how it works. The OP's point that "all men want a better looking woman" is more true of women, and men are less able to be choosey.
-
This assumes a very efficient dating market where, at each sexual encounter, women maximize physical attractiveness. This is not accurate on any level.
-
1) No, it doesn't assume anything about the dating market. See above. What it assumes is that women are choosier than men. They are. And that women seek attractive men, which, tautologically, they do. Given those circumstances, in situations where monogamy does not prevail
-
Women are choosier than men yes but attractiveness isn’t their number one thing like it is for men, women put things like humour over attractiveness
-
Attractive is more than "pretty". It includes things like humor, and wealth. That said, humor is low on the list of what women act on wrt mating preferences. Pretty and rich gets most of it.
-
Humour is actually I think number 1 or 2 on a woman’s list
-
I was talking about what they actually do, not the stories they tell. This has been studied.

I know it’s been studie I’ve taken many psychology courses and personality psych courses

Well yeah, those two points are essentially the same point. I was out to lunch with a techy young man once, who, when he told me what he was looking for, was a girl like Jennifer Lawrence. He didn't mind if she was "a little heavy" How many of you ask out fat girls? Hand count?
-
Exactly. They are the same point: Blame men. Maybe you should consider alternative explanations that don't necessarily involve "Its all mens fault." BTW, what people say about their actions frequently has very little relationship to what they actually do.
